Chinese Sociological Review (CSR) 進入SSCI 1區雜誌行列

2018年6月26日晚最新的國際社會科學期刊影響因子報告Journal Citation Report發佈。由香港科技大學社會科學部和公共政策學部吳曉剛教授主編的英文SSCI雜誌,Chinese Sociological Review(簡稱CSR), 2017年的影響因數為2.3,在國際所有的146本社會學雜誌中位列第21名,超過不少著名的社會學雜誌如Social Forces, British Journal of Sociology和Social Science Research,進入Q1雜誌行列

CSR 前身為總部在紐約的美國ME Sharpe出版公司自1968年開始出版的Chinese Sociology and Anthropology (ISSN: 0009-4625),1997年進入SSCI集刊。2011年秋季起,該刊正式更名為Chinese Sociological Review(國際標準刊號:2162-0555 [print], 2162-0563 [online]),改版後的雜誌以英文發表原創性的文章(Research Articles)為主,輔以討論 (Editorial Forum)、專題評論(Review)、資料與方法論(Data and Methods)和專刊(Special Issue)。 2014年11月,ME Sharpe併入了世界最大的學術出版集團之一,Taylor & Francis。CSR由Taylor & Francis在美國費城的總部負責協調、編輯和出版,一年4期,每年10月、次年1月、4月和7月出版。

CSR改版後,辦刊品質不斷提高,發表文章的影響因數節節攀升,由2011年的0.024躍升至2016年的1.476,2017年更躍升到2.3。2017年在SSCI收錄的146種社會學期刊中排名第21位,位居Q1區的前列。

CSR是辦刊時間最長的一本關於中國研究的國際性雜誌,歷史僅次於1960年創刊的China Quarterly,也是全世界146種SSCI社會學雜誌中唯一一本致力於中國社會研究的專業刊物,更是唯一一本編輯部設在中國境內的國際高水準社會科學專業雜誌。CSR由上海大學期刊社與香港科技大學應用社會與經濟研究中心共同贊助。

CSR是在中國知識生產全球化時代的一本全新的英文雜誌,將繼續致力於將本刊打造成為國際一流的學術期刊,旨在向世界展示中國社會學研究的最新成果,為國際學術界瞭解中國社會,也為中國學者參與國際學術對話提供平臺和機會,提升中國學術的國際影響力,成為國際學術交流的平臺。
