Global Inaugural RWA Summit Concludes in Hong Kong, Launching Trillion-Dollar Era of Asset Digitization
WCS·2025 RWA Industry Conference & RWA Institute First Anniversary Celebration Held in Hong Kong
[Hong Kong, June 26, 2025] Against the backdrop of accelerating global digital economy integration, the WCS·2025 RWA Industry Conference & RWA Institute First Anniversary Celebration was grandly held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on June 25. Jointly hosted by the RWA Institute, Guanhu, and the Meta-AI 30 Forum with support from over 20 prestigious institutions including HKUST, this inaugural international summit focused on Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization gathered over 1,000 leaders from government, industry, academia, and research sectors, unveiling milestone achievements to chart a global roadmap for asset digitization.
Policy Direction: Hong Kong Cements Global RWA Hub Status
Held one day after the Hong Kong SAR Government’s Digital Asset Development Policy Declaration 2.0, the summit became the first platform for policy implementation. Ian Fok, Director of Fok Ying Tung Group and Honorary Chairman of the RWA Institute, emphasized in his opening address: "Hong Kong bears the mission to advance RWA compliance, leveraging opportunities from Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area collaboration to inject trusted digital momentum into the real economy." Dr. George Lam, former Chairman of Hong Kong Cyberport and JP, highlighted Hong Kong’s unique advantages: "With a 180-year common law system, free port policy, and stablecoin regulatory framework, Hong Kong is evolving from a global asset management center into a digital asset hub." Prof. Yang Wang, Vice President of HKUST, stated via video: "At an inflection point of Web3 development, Hong Kong’s RWA sandbox policies demonstrate resolute commitment."

Bai Liang, CEO of 01Caijing, predicted: "Within 3-5 years, tokenization of globally liquid assets will near completion." Deng Di, Chairman of Taiyi Group, proclaimed: "2025 marks the元年 (yuánnián - inaugural year) of Web3 mass adoption, with RWA reshaping all industries."
