"The Persistence of Behavioral Changes in Post-Pandemic Hong Kong" Online Questionnaire

 

This survey is part of a research project on The Persistence of Behavioral Changes in Post-Pandemic Hong Kong. The research aims to understand behavioral changes and the likelihood of the persistence of different behaviors in the wake of the pandemic. We are surveying 30,000 random sample households in HK. Sampled households shall receive an invitation letter with a participation code. Please use the code for entering the online questionnaire. 

 

Our survey mainly focuses on factors determining people's behavioral changes during four periods of COVID-19. It includes:

1. Before the epidemic (the second half of 2019)

2. The first wave (February-April 2020)

3. Fifth wave (February-April 2022)

4. Now (May 2022)

 

And covers a wide range of questions consist of: 

1. Employment status and Income

 - Actual working hours

 - Job Categories

 - Telecommuting/Work-from-home status and frequency

2. Travel behaviour

 - Driving license

 - Main mode of transportation

3. Consumption and Daily Habits

 - Dining behaviour

 - Online shopping behavior

4. Technology

 - Broadband Internet, Gadgets, Video Call, Social Media

5. Preferences/Beliefs/Stress

 - Beliefs change under pandemic (e.g. Agreeing that video calling is a good alternative to face-to-face contact)

 - Stressfulness under pandemic (Signs of depression & anxiety)

6. Housing

 - Location of accommodation

 - Type of accommodation
