The study will utilize the survey infrastructure of the Hong Kong Panel Study of Social Dynamics (HKPSSD) to conduct a timely population-representative survey of Hong Kong households as the pandemic recedes, collecting data on behavioral patterns before, during, and immediately after the pandemic. We will examine behavioral changes pertaining to travel, work, shopping, and housing choices. This approach allows us to provide early prognoses of which behavioral changes are likely to be long-lasting, and therefore guide government in designing policies to address such changes proactively.
